RIP: Patricia Arquette and David Arquette's Sister Alexis Arquette Has Died at Age 47

Rest in peace, Alexis Arquette.  David Arquette and Patricia Arquette's sister sadly died at age 47 on Sunday, Sept. 11, her family confirmed via social media.

The transgender actress — born Robert Arquette in 1969 — was most known for appearing in movies The Wedding SingerOf Mice and MenBride of ChuckyLords of Dogtown and Blended. She additionally starred in the 2006 documentary, Alexis Arquette: She's My Brother, about her transition from male to female.
"Our brother Robert, who became our brother Alexis, who became our sister Alexis, who became our brother Alexis, passed this morning Sept. 11, at 12:32 am," Alexis' brother Richmond Arquette wrote on Facebook. "He was surrounded by all of his brothers and sisters, one of his nieces and several other loved ones. We were playing music for him and he passed during David Bowie's "Starman." As per his wishes, we cheered at the moment that he transitioned to another dimension."
Our thoughts are with the Arquette family during this difficult time.
