To be fair, she wrote it! Taylor Swift, 26, has made it repeatedly clear that she loves her girl squad — so it was no surprise to recently see her sitting front row at the Tommy Hilfiger show at New York Fashion Week, cheering on her bestie Gigi Hadid. But it was a surprise to see her sing along to her ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris' newest song while at the event!
Gigi, 21, walked in the show — which took place in NYC at Pier 16 — alongside the designer himself. Taylor had her phone at the ready as Gigi cat-walked on by, capturing her gal pal in action. Then, she turned the camera on herself and Victoria's Secret model (and bestie) Martha Hunt, as they lip-synced along to the song playing. And it just so happened to be the mega jam that broke up Calvin and Taylor's year-long romance.
While the singer didn't hold back from karaoke-ing to her own words, she made no mention of the particular song in her Insta caption.
"SO PROUD OF YOU GIGI!!!! That show was INSANE," Taylor wrote. "Congrats to Gi, Tommy, and all the girls who just owned that runway!!"
Let's not forget that Tay herself wrote the lyrics and melody to the song under the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg and as such, retains the publishing rights to the song. Earlier this year, it was revealed that Taylor was actually the brainiac behind the huge hit and rumors circulated that the collaboration led to her breakup with Calvin. Calvin even went off on twitter, alleging Tay's team tried to make him look bad.

But there's more than two exes at play here. Taylor's Tommy outing marks her first public appearance since splitting with her most recent ex-beau, Tom Hiddleston, 35. The two shared a very public whirlwind romance immediately after the "Welcome to New York" singer broke things off with Calvin.
Despite all the ex drama, last night was all about girl power and Gigi rocking the Fashion Week stage. We love to see Taylor supporting her girl!
